Huth or An der Huth is a settlement belonging to the town of Klingenthal in the town of Klingenthal in the Saxon Vogtland district . The settlement is in the Klingenthal district and partly consists of prefabricated buildings from the GDR era.

Huth is in the southeast of the Saxon part of the historic Vogt country , but heard with respect to the natural environment for Westerzgebirge . The settlement is located west of the old town of Klingenthal, from which it is separated by the Dürrenbach, a tributary of the Zwota . Huth is demarcated from the Döhlerwald district to the south by the Zwotental – Klingenthal railway line . Huth is located in the Erzgebirge / Vogtland Nature Park .

history

Since the end of the 16th century, the valleys of the Dürrenbach and Brunndöbra were the most important mining areas in the Klingenthal region. The first settlements in what is now the Klingenthal district of “An der Huth” are mentioned in the 19th century. So around 1830 the settlement "Dürrenbach" belonging to Klingenthal and around 1875 the settlement "Huth" are called. In 1913 the first large hill in Klingenthal was built in the Dürrenbachtal. Between 1976 and 1999 there were several small hills on Dürrenbach.

Today's settlement of the area west of the old town of Klingenthal did not begin until the GDR era . North of the Zwotental – Klingenthal railway line, a large housing estate was built between 1959 and 1982, some with prefabricated buildings .
