The Hyère (sometimes also called Hyères ) is a river in France that runs in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Corbel , just on the border with the neighboring municipality of Saint-Jean-de-Couz , generally drains in a north-easterly direction and after 19 kilometers flows into the Leysse as a left tributary in the urban area of Chambéry .
