Hyacinth Oroko Egbebo

Hyacinth Oroko Egbebo MSP (born October 23, 1955 in Ogriagbene ) is Bishop of Bomadi .

Life

Hyacinth Oroko Egbebo joined the religious order of the Mission Society of St. Paul of Nigeria and was ordained a priest on June 23, 1990 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 23, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Bomadi and titular bishop of Lacubaza . The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , Archbishop Renzo Fratini , donated him episcopal ordination on February 2 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Joseph O. Egerega , Vicar Apostolic of Bomadi, and Richard Anthony Burke SPS , Archbishop of Benin City .

On April 4, 2009, he was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Bomadi. Hyacinth Oroko Egbebo became the first bishop of Bomadi on September 21, 2017 as a result of the elevation of the Apostolic Vicariate of Bomadi.
