style
Malachite Skies (2015)
Opposites are deliberately created on the first work. Rough metal meets soft, fairytale-like orchestral elements and lovely melodies. In contrast to the widespread use of the genre, the band does not rely on a classically influenced voice. Rather, soprano Lisa brings her lighter-looking, ethereal voice into the overall musical picture and characterizes the band with catchy melodies. Thematically, Malachite Skies goes into a wide variety of realms. In addition to historical content such as the life of Cleopatra and the psychology of the Milgram Experiment, the band also moves in the fantasy area and visits the Palace of Tears. The texts also offer scope for interpretation.
Solar Empire (2016)
The musical direction of Solar Empire can be described as harder, faster and more symphonic compared to the debut. The concept album is based on a short story to which all eleven songs on the CD refer. The short story tells of a couple in love who try to maintain their relationship despite the tensions of both worlds between which they walk. In addition to a large classical choir, which shapes the overall sound, instruments such as bagpipe, flute or harp can be heard.
