The Hyse (also: Aïse, Hise ) is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Its source stream Ruisseau de Nicole rises in the municipality of Gibel . It generally drains in a north-westerly direction through the Lauragais landscape , runs for a distance of about ten kilometers next to the A66 motorway and flows into the Ariège as a right tributary after about 29 kilometers at Venerque .
