IC 2651 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 919 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies IC 677 , IC 2652 , IC 2655 , IC 2656 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 27, 1906 .
