IC 2666 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb with an active galaxy core in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 331 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 2650 , IC 2657 , IC 2661 , IC 2695 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 27, 1906 .
