IC 2673 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 259 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies IC 2638 , IC 2648 , IC 2676 , IC 2680 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 27, 1906 .
