One difference to the Intercity train offer is the reservation requirement, which is included in the fare at no extra charge. Online timetable information and tickets are sold on the same websites as long-distance and regional transport. Family children up to the age of 14 can also be taken along free of charge on the IC bus, just like train tickets at the DB tariff. Bicycles can also be taken on the two lines from Berlin to Copenhagen, depending on availability. Reservations are required to take bicycles with you. The individual transport offers have the generic name BUS and a five-digit number, similar to a train number .
