The second edition of the Oracle / ITA Masters college tennis tournament was held from October 13 to 16, 2016 on the grounds of the Malibu Racquet Club in Malibu , California .
One of the three competitions was the men's singles . The title was secured by the Japanese Ryotaro Matsumura from the University of Kentucky , who prevailed in the final against the American Shawn Hadavi from Columbia University .
