Rinderknech not played on the tour of the juniors, but decided in 2014 to study at the Texas A & M University in the field of Business , where he graduated 2018th During his time he also played college tennis .
Even before his studies he played several tournaments in the third highest tournament category for professionals, the ITF Future Tour - but initially without success. During his studies he played occasionally and more successfully. He reached his first future final in Belgium in 2016, and won his first title in doubles in 2017. In March 2018 Rinderknech qualified for the Challenger tournament in Irving , near his university, for the main draw. There he won his first match at this level, but then lost to Petros Chrysochos . In June he received a wildcard for the doubles competition from the tournament officials of the French Open and thus came to his Grand Slam premiere .
