Iamze Tammert (born January 4, 1971 as Iamse Twauri ( Georgian იამზე თვაური ) in Tbilisi ) is a German chess player with Georgian roots. She received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM) from FIDE in August 2014 .

Iamze Tammert has been playing in the women's chess league for the OSG Baden-Baden since 2002 . With the club she became the German women's team champion in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2008 , 2009 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2018 .
