Norsk akkreditering

Norsk akkreditering ( NA ) is a Norwegian administrative authority subordinate to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and responsible for the national accreditation of laboratories, certification bodies and control bodies. In addition, she is responsible for GLP certification and EMAS certification (environment). It was founded on January 1st, 2004, is based in Lillestrøm and has 24 employees.

In recent years, accreditation has been used within the EU system for the control of the competence and ability to perform in the performance of authorities. For example, the Norwegian NYTEK only commissions accredited companies to inspect their aquaculture facilities.
