Slovenska akreditacija

The Slovenska akreditacija (SA) is a Slovenian organization .

The main task of the SA is the accreditation of institutions that are active in the field of laboratory tests, inspections, calibration and certification . It is based on ISO and EN standards.

The working methods of the SA are checked by peer review. The basis for this are the multilateral recognition agreements (EA-MLA, IAF-MLA and ILAC-MRA). The SA is a member of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA).

The SA is the Slovenian accreditation body according to Regulation (EC) 765/2008. The board of directors of the SA has since been an independent administrative body.

In 1999 the Accreditation Act was passed and the SA was founded as a public body.
