ACCREDIA
The Accredia is an Italian organization . It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The main task of the Accredia is the accreditation of institutions that are active in the field of laboratory tests, inspections, calibration and certification . It is based on ISO and EN standards.
The way in which the Accredia works is checked through peer review. The basis for this are the multilateral recognition agreements (EA-MLA, IAF-MLA and ILAC-MRA). The Accredia is a member of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA).
The Accredia is the Italian accreditation body according to Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008.
