Entidad Nacional de Acreditación

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC) (German: National Accreditation Body ) is the national accreditation body of the Kingdom of Spain .

As part of the European Regulation (EC) No. 765/2008 (Article 4 Paragraph 1), all EU member states had to designate a single national accreditation body from January 1, 2010. According to Royal Decree 1715 of December 17, 2010, this is ENAC.

The way in which the Accredia works is checked through peer review. The basis for this are the multilateral recognition agreements (EA-MLA, IAF-MLA and ILAC-MRA). The Accredia is a member of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA).
