Comité français d'accréditation

The Comité français d'accréditation (COFRAC) is the national accreditation body of France . It is therefore the French counterpart to the DAkkS in Germany. The basis for this are the multilateral recognition agreements (EA-MLA, IAF-MLA and ILAC-MRA). The COFRAC is a member of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA).

history

The COFRAC was founded on April 29, 1994. With the decree 2008-1401 of December 19, 2008 it became the national accreditation body for France. Daniel Pierre headed the COFRAC from 1994 to 2013. Bernard Doroszczuk followed from 2013 to 2018 and Joël Karecki on January 2, 2019.
