Styrelsen för ackreditering och teknisk Kontroll ( SWEDAC , German  Swedish Authority for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment ) is the national accreditation body that accredits laboratories, certification and inspection bodies in Sweden.

It is a Swedish administrative authority that reports to the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The authority is based in Borås . She is also responsible for the regulations and monitoring in the field of legal metrology and the monitoring of precious metal processing. It was founded in 1989 and goes back to the Sveriges Tekniska Forsknigsinstitut . It is headed by a general director and is financed through fees and government grants (12 percent).
