The 2004/05 season was the 14th season of the Women's Chess League. SK Holsterhausen , SC Leipzig-Gohlis and Weiß-Blau Allianz Leipzig were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . While Holsterhausen and Weiß-Blau Allianz Leipzig achieved relegation, SC Leipzig-Gohlis ended up on a relegation zone as did SK Chaos Mannheim and Rotation Pankow (in the previous season still as Rotation Berlin at the start), but since SK Holsterhausen after the season When his team withdrew, Pankow's rotation remained top notch. The defending champion OSC Baden-Baden (which was still called SC Baden-Oos at the beginning of the season and was renamed in December 2004) won all competitions and was superior German champions.
