German Chess League 2009/10 (women)
The 2009/10 season was the 19th season of the women's chess Bundesliga . SAV Torgelow , SV Wolfbusch and SV Medizin Erfurt were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . While Torgelow achieved relegation for the first time in the fourth attempt, Wolfbusch and Erfurt had to relegate together with SK Lehrte . The USV Volksbank Halle and the defending champion OSG Baden-Baden fought head-to-head for the title, which in the end saw Halle lead by one point.
