Natalia Straub , b. Natalja Kisseljowa , Ukrainian Наталья Кисельова (born May 27, 1978 in Lugansk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian - German chess player and has been the Women's Grand Master (WGM) since 1998 .

International tournaments

Natalia Straub represented Ukraine at World Championships and European Championships for young women in different age groups. Her greatest success was in 1993 when she became European U16 champion in Szombathely . In 1994 she won the Ukrainian women's championship. In 1995 she qualified for the women's interzonal tournament in Chișinău , but remained unsuccessful. In 1996 she won an open tournament in Krakow . She was shared third after Olga Stiażkiną and Dagnė Čiukšytė in Frýdek-Místek . In 2000 at a WGM tournament in Bühlertal it was behind Joanna Dworakowska a shared second place with Zoya Lelchuk and Alisa Marić . In 2001 she qualified for the FIDE World Championship for women in the knockout system , which was played in Moscow. In the first round she won against Wang Yu , but lost in the second to Alissa Galljamowa . In 2003 in Athens she was shared third behind Jelena Dembo and Margarita Wojska at a women's tournament .

With her highest rating of 2382, she took fifth place in the Ukrainian women's rankings in July 2001.

In the Dutch Meesterklasse Straub played in the 2001/02 season for ESGOO , in the 2003/04 season for the champion ZZICT / De Variant Breda . In the British Four Nations Chess League she played in the 2001/02 season for Slough . In the German women's Bundesliga, Straub played for the Rodewischer Schachmiezen from 1998 to 2000 , from 2000 to 2002 for SG Heiligenhaus , in the 2002/03 season for SK Holsterhausen , from 2004 to 2006 for Weiß-Blau Allianz Leipzig , from 2006 to 2008 for SK Doppelbauer Kiel , from 2008 to 2015 for USV Volksbank Halle , with whom she won the championship in 2010 , and since 2015 she has played for SF Deizisau . At the European Club Cup Women Natalia took Straub 1998 Hugart Rybnik , 2002 RAD Belgrade and 2010 with the UPS Volksbank Halle part.
