Oksana Sarana-Hungeling (born April 28, 1979 in Kiev as Oksana Sarana) is a German chess player of Ukrainian origin. She has held the FIDE title of Women's Grand Master (WGM) since 1998 .

Oksana Sarana-Hungeling took part in strong international open tournaments in Slovakia , Ukraine and Germany as a girl . Only later were all-women tournaments added.

- 6 out of 9 at the 1998 Slovak Championship in Prievidza , won by Tomáš Balogh .
- 4.5 out of 9 at the 1998 NRW Sportland Cup Masters in Senden , when Daniel Fridman and Frank Holzke came out on top.
- 5 out of 11 at the U20 championship (female) in Kiev in 1998, when Tatiana Kononenko and Anna Zozulia won.
- 5 out of 9 at the 1999 Slovak championship in Nové Zámky , where Volodymyr Serhejew came first.
- 5.5 out of 10 at the Dortmund Sparkassen Open A 2000, when József Pintér took first place.
- 6 out of 9 at the 4th Open International Bavarian Chess Championship 2000 in Bad Wiessee , which Alexander Nenashev won.

In Germany, Sarana-Hungeling played for the SK Turm Emsdetten until 2008 , and since then for the Steinfurt chess club in 1996 . She played with Emsdetten from 1999 to 2004 in the first women's league and in 2001 won the German women's team championship; In 2000 she took part in the European Women's Club Cup . In the Slovak Extraliga Sarana played in the 1995/96 season with the team of ZŤS Spartak Dubnica .
Others
In January 2000 Oksana Sarana switched from the Ukrainian to the German Chess Federation and in 2001 changed her name to Oksana Sarana-Hungeling. Today she is a member of the Steinfurt chess club in 1996 and trained young people. After the 2009/10 season of the 2. Frauenbundesliga West, she did not play an Elo rated game and is therefore listed as inactive at FIDE.
