German Chess League 1999/2000 (women)

The 1999/2000 season was the ninth season of the women's chess Bundesliga . SK Turm Emsdetten , SV Fortuna Regensburg and SV Chemie Guben were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . While Emsdetten achieved relegation, Regensburg and Guben had to relegate immediately; third relegation was Rotation Berlin . The Dresdner SC and SK Tower Emsdetten finished the season level on points at the top and thus had a playoff for the title contest, the Dresden 3.5: 2.5 won.
