Chess Bundesliga 2019/20 (women)

The 2019/20 season is the 29th season of the women's chess Bundesliga . The defending champion is SC Bad Königshofen , SV Medizin Erfurt and SV Weißblau Allianz Leipzig were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga last year . No club from the 2nd Bundesliga West wanted to exercise their right of promotion. Events

The first eight rounds took place on September 14th and 15th, December 14th and 15th 2019, February 1st, 2nd, 15th and 16th 2020 and were played decentrally at the participating clubs. The last three rounds were supposed to be held centrally in Berlin from April 30 to May 2, 2020 , but were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . It is planned to play the competitions decentrally from September 25 to 27, 2020.
