German Chess League 2014/15 (women)
The 2014/15 season was the 24th season of the women's chess Bundesliga . The champions were OSG Baden-Baden , which won all competitions, while the defending champion SC Bad Königshofen had to be content with third place. From the 2nd Bundesliga were SK Schwäbisch Hall and the chess community Leipzig ascended from the 2. Bundesliga West was after the 2013/14 season no climber has been reported, so that last year only two teams from the 1. Bundesliga descended. While Schwäbisch Hall achieved relegation, the SG Leipzig had to relegate directly. In purely sporting terms, SK Lehrte and Weißblau Allianz Leipzig would also have been relegated, but since USV Volksbank Halle withdrew their team after the season, Lehrte was still relegated as the best relegated.
