German Chess League 2017/18 (women)

The 2017/18 season was the 27th season of the women's chess Bundesliga . The champions were OSG Baden-Baden , which relegated the defending champions SK Schwäbisch Hall to second place. SV 1920 Hofheim , SV Allianz Leipzig and SK Doppelbauer Kiel were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga last year . Hofheim was the only newcomer to stay in the league, while Leipzig and Kiel, together with SV Medizin Erfurt, had to relegate directly. Events

The competitions took place on October 1, November 18 and 19, December 16 and 17, 2017, January 27 and 28, February 17 and 18, March 24 and 25, 2018, with two competitions being played the first round were only held on December 15, 2017. The competitions were held locally at the participating clubs.
