German Chess League 2013/14 (women)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2013/14 season was the 23rd season of the women's chess Bundesliga . The German champions were SC Bad Königshofen , who won the decisive comparison against defending champion OSG Baden-Baden . SK Lehrte , Weißblau Allianz Leipzig and TSV Schott Mainz were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . In purely sporting terms, all three promoted teams would have been relegated directly, but Leipzig and Lehrte still managed to stay in the league because SV Mülheim-Nord withdrew their team after the season and no promoted team from the 2nd Bundesliga West was reported for the 2014/15 season.

For the reported team squads of the participating clubs, see the team squad of the German Federal Chess League 2013/14 (women) .
