Anastassija Sawina ( Russian Анастасия Сергеевна Савина , at FIDE and the German Chess Federation: Anastasia Savina ; born March 18, 1992 in Moscow ) is a Russian chess player and has been a women's grandmaster since 2010 . In 2011 she received the FIDE title of International Master (IM).

Chess career

Anastassija Sawina represented Russia at the World and European Championships for young women in different age groups. Here she won two medals. She was shared runner-up behind Marija Musytschuk at the European U10 Girls 'Championship in Peñíscola 2002. She also achieved a shared second place behind Nasi Paikidse at the U16 European Girls' Championship in Herceg Novi 2008.

She met the norms for the title of women's grandmaster in 2008 and 2009 at two tournaments in Moscow and one in Serpukhov . She met the standards for the IM between 2009 and 2011 at tournaments in Serpukhov, Moscow, Rijeka and Tbilisi .

In 2009 at the IM tournament in Moscow, she got 4.5 points from nine games. In 2009 at the World Youth Championship U18 women in Antalya she reached a shared third place with 8 out of 11. At the 2011 GM tournament in Antwerp , she got 3.5 points from 9 games and was second best lady behind Elisabeth Pähtz .

Team chess

Sawina took in 2010 at the Chess Olympiad in part of women with Russia's second team. In 2010 and 2011 she played in the Russian women's team championship for the AWS Krasnoturjinsk team , with whom she also took part in the 2010 European Women's Club Cup , since 2012 she has played for SchSM-RGSU Moscow , with whom she twice in the European Club Cup Women participated. She has been playing in the German women's Bundesliga since 2010 for SC Bad Königshofen , with whom she won the German women's team championship in 2014 and 2019 and also took part in the women's European Club Cup in 2014, and she played in the British Four Nations Chess League in the 2012 season / 13 for Jutes of Kent . In the French Top 12 she has been playing for Vandœuvre-Echecs since the 2014/15 season , in the Luxembourg national division for Esch Rochade Reine since the 2015/16 season and for the KSK Rochade Eupen in the Belgian Interclubs since the 2016/17 season Kelmis .
