"Conny" Hansen

Heinrich Egon Hansen (born May 8, 1930 in Wulsdorf ; † October 31, 1996 in Bremerhaven ) was a German teacher and school councilor. He became known as an amateur actor and promoter of homeland care and regional history between the Weser and Elbe.

Life

Hansen was the son of Vice Rector Diedrich Hansen. He grew up in Wulsdorf and from 1940 to 1950 (with interruptions due to the war) attended the Realgymnasium in Geestemünde, which probably became the Wilhelm Raabe School during Hansen's time . After studying at the University of Education in Göttingen, he joined the school service of the state of Lower Saxony in 1952 . Until 1959 he taught at the elementary school in Schiffdorf . Afterwards he was a teacher and - after an additional examination passed in 1962 - a middle school teacher in Dorum . In 1964 he moved to the secondary school in Bederkesa as a high school principal . In 1972 he became the School Board of the School Inspection circle from the district Wesermünde appointed. From 1975 the official title was school authority director, from 1980 he was head of the school supervisory authority in Cuxhaven in the new district of Cuxhaven . He retired in 1995 when he reached the age limit.

He was the spokesman for the junior teachers in the Wesermünde district (1953–1956) and led specialist seminars. He sat on examination commissions for teachers and secondary school teachers (1966–1972). He was elected in 1966 to the teachers' district staff council, of which he was chairman from 1970–1972. In the education and science union , he was chairman of the Wesermünde district teachers 'association (1962–1974) and deputy chairman of the Stade district teachers' association.

Low German theater engagement

Since 1946 a member of the Low German Stage »Waterkant«, he has worked for many years as a board member and in many productions as a credible performer. In 1957 he initiated the popular summer evenings in the Geest farmhouse of the Speckenbüttel open-air museum . He selected the lyrics and directed it until 1996.

Sports

From 1954 he officiated in the Wesermünde sports district as a youth and sports warden. Since 1956 he has been editing the annual festival publications for the Wesermünde district sports festival.

Local lore

Hansen developed his most intensive sphere of activity in the field of homeland care and regional historical research. As early as 1948, at the age of 18, he was a member of the Morgenstern men . Since the 1960s he has taken on increasing tasks. In 1972 he followed Ernst Klemeyer as chairman of the Heimatbund. This election was followed by numerous appointments to other honorary posts and a wide range of activities in the Elbe-Weser triangle :

Publications

Hansen's extensive lecturing activities made him known above all in northern Lower Saxony. He published in the North Sea calendar and in the Niederdeutscher Heimatblatt der Männer vom Morgenstern, who elected him to the editorial committee in 1971. As chairman of the editorial committee he designed the yearbook of the men from the morning star from 1974.
