Ernst Klemeyer

Ernst Klemeyer (born April 19, 1904 in Reer (Verden) ; † May 14, 1992 in Langen (Geestland) ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a farmer , Klemeyer studied law and economics in Tübingen , Kiel and Göttingen after attending the Verden High School . During his studies he became a member of the Strasbourg fraternity Arminia zu Tübingen . In 1931 he became a member of the NSDAP and the SA , in which he was last SA-Scharführer . After exams and legal clerkship , he became a government councilor in 1937 and later until 1945 district administrator of the Hadeln district . He was a member of the Reich Association of German Officials (RDB). During the Second World War he took part as a non-commissioned officer in a pioneer battalion . After his release from captivity in the internment camps in Neumünster and Eselsheide, he worked as an unskilled worker on his parents' farm in Reer until 1951 . 1951 to 1969 he was senior district director of the Wesermünde district . He was head of the Hermann Allmers Society from 1952 to 1986 and was a member of the Heimatbund der Männer vom Morgenstern , of which he was deputy from 1954 to 1969 and then chairman until 1972. He was a founding member of the Wesermünde District Equestrian Association, 1954 to 1969 first chairman of the board of trustees for equestrian sport , 1953 to 1969 chairman of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Wesermünde and 1963 to 1976 chairman of the DRK district association Wesermünde.
