Lisa Schut (born July 6, 1994 in Veldhoven ) is a Dutch chess player .
Life
Lisa Schut comes from a chess family. Her father Han (best Elo number 2205), her mother Heleen (best Elo 2034) and her two years older sister Donna (best Elo 2101), who led the Dutch U-16 ranking of young women until November 2009, are active Chess player. Lisa Schut learned to play chess at the age of nine. She has since been trained by several coaches, including Vladimir Chuchelov .
successes
She won several Dutch youth championships, but was only able to take part in them rarely because as a schoolgirl in Belgium she did not always get school free for the events. For example, in 2008 she was the Dutch champion of female youth in the U14 category. At the individual European championship of the female youth U16 2009 in Fermo she received a bronze medal. At the 2010 World Youth Championship, she took third place in the U16 female age group, and came second at the 2012 U18 World Championship for girls. She won the Dutch women's individual championship for the first time in July 2013 in Amsterdam .
Since July 2009 she has been the youngest Dutch woman to have achieved this, the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). She achieved the standards for this in the A group of the 2nd International Open de les Illes-Medes in Girona in January 2008, in the A-group of the 3rd Illes-Medes tournament in January 2009 and at the 25th International Open in Cappelle -la-Grande in March 2009. With her highest rating to date of 2333 in September 2013, she was behind Peng Zhaoqin in second place in the Dutch women's Elo ranking.
National team
Lisa Schut took part with the Netherlands in the women's chess Olympiads in 2008 , 2010 , 2012 and 2014 as well as the women's team championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013.

Lisa Schut played team chess in the Netherlands, first for SV Veldhoven , then for Eindhoven and HMC Calder Den Bosch , then for HWP Sas van Gent (including in the 2009/10 season in the top Dutch league, the Meester class ) and from 2011 to 2013 for Utrecht in the Meester class. Living in Waterloo , Belgium , she played for the Flemish club Humbeek , since September 2010 for Amay , with whom she won the 2015 Belgian team championship. In the Greek team championship she played for AO Kydon Chania , in France since 2011 for the Association Cannes-Echecs , in Germany since the 2011/12 season for OSG Baden-Baden , with which she won the women's team championship in 2012, 2013 and 2015 . In the British Four Nations Chess League , Schut played for Oxford in the 2017/18 season .
