Marc Narciso Dublan (born January 20, 1974 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish chess player .

Career

He won the Catalan individual youth championship in 1991, in the adult division he won the Catalan championship in 1992 and 1995 (in Barcelona), and in 2011 in Sabadell he came second. In his chess career he won several tournaments in Spain, for example in Ibi , La Pobla de Lillet , Barcelona, Montcada i Reixac and Barberà del Vallès . At the Ibero-American Individual Championship in Mexico City in 2011 , he finished second behind Gilberto Milos .

In 1997 Marc Narciso Dublan received the title of International Master . He has been a grandmaster since October 2003. He achieved the norms for his grandmaster title at a First Saturday tournament in Budapest in April 2001 , at the NS Fatima European GP in Lisbon in August 2001 and at the promotion tournament in Mondariz in December 2002 he won.

Team chess

For the Spanish national team he took part in the European Team Championships in 2001 and 2007 on the reserve board and in the 2006 Chess Olympiad , there on the second reserve board.

With the team of the Catalonia region he took part in the European Club Cup in 1993 . In the Spanish team championship he played from 1998 to 2004 and again in 2007 for the club Foment Martinenc Barcelona , 2009 for UE Montcada , 2014 for CE Barberà and 2015 and 2017 for CE Escola d'Escacs de Barcelona . In the Turkish team championship he played for Azdur Spor Sanat ve Kültür Kulübü and in the French for Lyon Olympique Echecs and Echiquier Orangeois .
