Zenón Franco Ocampos (born May 12, 1956 in Asunción ) is a Paraguayan - Spanish chess player .

He won the Paraguayan individual championship in 1976. He played for Paraguay at ten Chess Olympiads : 1976 , 1978 , 1982 , 1988 , 1990 , 2002 , 2006 , 2008 , 2016 , 2018 and once for Spain in 1998 . He also took part in the Pan American Team Championship (1985) in Villa Gesell .

In 1982 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 1990. Since 2012 he has held the title of FIDE senior trainer.
