Oleg Korneev ( Russian Олег Анатольевич Корнеев , Oleg Anatoljewitsch Korneev ; born July 25, 1969 ) is a Russian - Spanish chess player who has been playing for the Spanish Association since 2012. He has the title of grand master .

Career

Korneev received the title of International Master in 1991 and has been a Grand Master since 1995 . He took part for Spain on board 4 at the 2012 Chess Olympiad in Istanbul and the 2013 European Team Championship in Warsaw .

Korneev plays in Germany for the second division club SG Porz , with whom he competed in the German Chess League in the 2006/07 season. Korneev also plays club chess in Hungary (for Csuti Antal SK Zalaegerszeg ), France (for Montpellier Echecs and Club de La Tour Sarrazine Antibes ), Spain (for UE Foment Martinenc Barcelona , CCA CajaCanarias Santa Cruz , with whom he became Spanish team champion in 2008 , the team of Mérida Patrimonio de la Humanidad with which he in 2014 won the title, and for Escola d'Escacs de Barcelona ), Belgium (for KSK castling Eupen-Kelmis ) and Russia (for Krylia Sovetov , University of Maikop , TPS Saransk , with whom he also took part in the European Club Cup 2006, and University of Belorechensk ).

He is married to the Ukrainian chess player Tatiana Kononenko .
