The Evangelical Lutheran village church of Mannstedt is in Mannstedt , a district of the rural community of Buttstädt in the district of Sömmerda in Thuringia . The parish Mannstedt is part of the parish area Rastenberg in Kirchenkreis Apolda Buttstaedt the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The hall church was completed as a new building with the construction of the retracted choir tower in 1744/45, so the designation on the tower and on the weather vane . The nave is covered with a slate pitched roof. The side walls have segment-arched windows. The tower is covered by an eight-sided bulbous dome . A pointed helmet with a tower ball rises above an open intermediate part . In the tower there is a chill-iron bell that Schilling & Lattermann cast in 1919. There have been several repairs since the 19th century.

The church furnishings are from the time it was built, some of them are more recent. The nave is covered with a flat wooden barrel vault. It has three-sided, two-story galleries. The choir has a wooden groin vault with stucco laurel bands on the ridges. The strictly structured, baroque pulpit altar has a painting of the Sermon on the Mount . There is a small carving on the pulpit. The chalice-shaped baptismal font is from 1562. The organ with 20 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1786 by an unknown organ builder .
