Ian Anüll

Ian Anüll (born June 7, 1948 in Sempach ) is a Swiss artist .

Anüll deals with painting , installation , watercolor , collage , writing and photography . In 1990 he had a solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Zürich , and in 1991 he represented Switzerland at the São Paulo Biennale . Further solo exhibitions took place in 2003 at the Kunstmuseum Solothurn , 2005 in the Kunsthalle Giessen , 2006 in the Center Culturel Suisse in Paris and 2010 in the Helmhaus Zurich . His formally heterogeneous work is known for the fact that it eludes any style and that it deals with socially critical issues.
