Ian Halperin

Ian Halperin (* 17th August 1964 in Montreal ) is a Canadian author , journalist , documentary film - director and film producer .

Life

Halperin was born in 1964 to Max Halperin from Russia and his wife Miriam Halperin. He has an older sister and a younger brother.

Halperin is the author and co-author of several books. He wrote the book Celine Dion : Behind the Fairytale, Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story and the book Hollywood Undercover , among others . Together with Max Wallace he wrote the book Who Killed Kurt Cobain? and Love and Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain . Halperin works as a journalist for the television program 60 Minutes II . 60 Minutes II is an investigative American news magazine that has been broadcast by the television station CBS News since 1968 . He is also a journalist correspondent for Court TV .

In late 2008, The Sun and In Touch Weekly newspapers reported that Michael Jackson had massive health problems, citing Halperin as a source of information .

Halperin lives in Montreal. He has been married to Jennifer Walker since 1998.
