Ibicuati (also: Ivicuati ) is a town in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Ibicuati is the third largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Cuevo in the Cordillera province . The village is located at an altitude of 904 m on the left bank of the periodically flowing Río Cuevo , which seeps east of Boyuibe into the grasslands of the Gran Chaco .

Ibicuati is located in the winter-humid subtropics , between the mountainous region of the Cordillera de Tajsara o Tarachaca in the west and the Bolivian Chaco in the east.
The annual average temperature of the region is 23 ° C (see Cuevo climate diagram), the monthly values fluctuate between 18 ° C in June and July and 26 ° C in November and January. The climate is semi-humid and has a clear dry season from May to September with monthly rainfall of less than 20 mm; the annual precipitation is almost 800 mm, from December to March monthly values of 110 to 160 mm are reached.
Transport network
Ibicuati is 332 kilometers by road south of Santa Cruz , the capital of the department.
The paved road Ruta 9 leads from Santa Cruz via Abapó and Ipitá to Boyuibe and another 187 kilometers to Yacuiba on the Bolivian southern border with Argentina . Twenty kilometers before Boyuibe, a dirt road branches off from Ruta 9 in a south-westerly direction to Cuevo , and two kilometers south-east of the branch, Ruta 9 crosses the village of Ibicuati .
