Cordillera is a province in the southern part of the Santa Cruz department in the lowlands of the South American landlocked state Bolivia .
location
The province is one of fifteen provinces in the Santa Cruz Department. It borders in the northwest on the province of Andrés Ibáñez and the province of Florida , in the west on the province of Vallegrande , in the south on the department Chuquisaca , in the southeast on the Republic of Paraguay , in the east on the province Germán Busch , and in the north on the province Chiquitos .
It extends between 18 ° 00 'and 20 ° 27' south latitude and 58 ° 47 'and 63 ° 47' west longitude, its east-west extent is about 600 kilometers, its north-south extent up to 350 kilometers. With an area of over 86,000 km², it is the largest province of Bolivia.

The Cordillera province is part of the settlement area of the Chiriguano , an indigenous people who are closely related to the Guaraní .

- 07-0705 Municipio Gutiérrez (2,009 km²) 12,273 inhabitants
- 07-0706 Municipio Camiri (1,087 km²) 33,838 inhabitants
- 07-0707 Municipio Boyuibe (1,824 km²) 5,087 inhabitants
