Vallegrande is a province in the western part of the Santa Cruz department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state Bolivia .

location

The province is one of fifteen provinces in the Santa Cruz Department. It borders in the north with the province of Manuel María Caballero , in the northwest with the department Cochabamba , in the southwest with the department Chuquisaca , in the east with the province Cordillera , and in the northeast with the province Florida .

It extends between 18 ° 09 'and 19 ° 11' south latitude and 63 ° 33 'and 64 ° 30' west longitude, its longitude from north to south is 140 kilometers, its latitude from east to west up to 100 kilometers, and it has a size of 6414 square kilometers.
