Ignacio Francisco Ducasse Medina (born November 8, 1956 in Santiago de Chile , Chile ) is a Chilean clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Antofagasta .

Life

Ignacio Francisco Ducasse Medina received on 24 March 1984 by the current Archbishop of Santiago de Chile , Juan Francisco Fresno , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 31, 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Valdivia . The Archbishop of Santiago de Chile, Cardinal Francisco Javier Errázuriz Ossa , donated him episcopal ordination on July 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Santiago de Chile, Ricardo Ezzati Andrello SDB , and the archbishop of Puerto Montt , Cristián Caro Cordero .

Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Antofagasta on June 8, 2017. The inauguration took place on August 26th of the same year.
