Ignacio Huang went to Argentina with his family at the age of 11 to work in a family-owned textile factory with his parents and siblings. At first, his parents were hostile to his desire to become an actor. Huang then began working as a graphic designer for the UBA. Nevertheless, in 2002 he began to study theater studies with Norman Briski . In the last year of his studies he took courses at the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte .
In 2003 he made his theater debut in the play Charla , directed by Diego Rodríguez. He later appeared in other plays, such as El año de Leberwurst (2006), Ángel (2007) y Dixit (2008). In 2006 he starred in the Argentinian TV series Hermanos y detectives . He had his first major cinema role in 2007 in the film Filmatron (2007). He achieved fame in the 2011 film Chinese take away , directed by Sebastián Borensztein , in which he appeared alongside Ricardo Darín . In this film, Huang plays a young Chinese who, ignorant of Spanish and without money, is picked up in Buenos Aires by the frustrated hardware dealer Roberto (Darín). He later worked in Balneario La Salada .
