Use Fürstenberg
Ilse Fürstenberg (born December 12, 1907 in Berlin , † December 16, 1976 in Basel ; actually Ilse Irmgard Funcke ) was a German actress and voice actress .
Life
She completed her acting training from 1924 to 1926 at the drama school of the German Theater in Berlin . In 1926 she got her first engagement at the Nationaltheater Mannheim . Then she played in Konstanz and since 1928 at the major theaters in Berlin.
She found smaller roles in film early on (Prof. Rath's housekeeper in Der Blaue Engel , 1930). Although she was rarely seen in leading roles, she was often seen in solid character roles. Her best-known films include M (1931), Münchhausen (1943), Große Freiheit Nr. 7 (1944), Canaris (1954) or Der Hauptmann von Köpenick (1931) as well as the film adaptation Der Hauptmann von Köpenick from 1956.
She has also worked as a voice actress since the 1950s.
Ilse Fürstenberg died at the age of 69. She was buried in the old part of the Munich forest cemetery.
