Ilse Elisabeth Falk b. von Lüpke (born September 21, 1943 in Bevensen ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2009.

Life and work

After attending grammar school in Celle and the Reifensteiner Landfrauenschule in Obernkirchen , Ilse Falk completed a horticultural apprenticeship . After her wedding, she was a housewife and also worked in her husband's surveying office. From 1984 to 1997 she was presbyter of the Protestant church Xanten -Mörmter.

Ilse Falk is married and has two sons. Her two daughters died of a serious illness in 1999.

Political party

She joined the CDU in 1984 and has been chairwoman of the Wesel district of the women's union since 1989 . Since 1995 she has been a member of the federal executive committee of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU / CSU . From 2001 to 2009 she was also a member of the CDU federal executive committee .

Ilse Falk was a city councilor in the city council of Xanten from 1989 to 1996.

From 1990 to 2009 she was a member of the German Bundestag. From 2001 to 2005 she was parliamentary managing director of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group and from 2005 to 2009 she was deputy chairwoman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group for the areas of family, senior citizens, women and youth; Work and social affairs; Churches; Workers.

Ilse Falk has always entered the Bundestag via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia . She competed in the 2005 and 2002 federal elections in the Wesel I constituency . But she could not prevail against Hans-Ulrich Krüger in these elections .

She did not run for the 2009 Bundestag election.
