Ilvie Wittek (* 1992 in Hollabrunn , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian model .

life and work

Wittek was discovered in the Vienna underground. Kosmas Pavols, Head Booker of “Wiener Models”, spoke to her and invited her to an interview. Her career began at the age of 15, and in 2008 she was engaged three times on the cover of Italian D and on the catwalk of the Milan Fashion Week for Maurizo Pecoraro .

In 2009 she appeared in print campaigns for Charlotte Ronson and Abercrombie & Fitch , the latter photographed by Bruce Weber . She dyed her hair platinum blonde , took on fashion shows for Danielle Scutt and Basso & Brooke in London, appeared in an editorial for British Vogue , photographed by Emma Summerton . The breakthrough on an international level finally followed in February 2010: Wittek was hired for fashion shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris and presented Marc Jacobs , Topshop , Prada , Marni ,Alberta Ferretti and Louis Vuitton . In the fall of the same year it ran for Monique Lhuillier , Jason Wu and Giles , and again for Marc Jacobs, Topshop Unique and Louis Vuitton, in 2011 for Amanda Wakeley in New York.

As a result, Wittek quickly established himself as a top model - in advertising campaigns for Benetton or Missoni , glossy editorials for Diva or Vogue , and on the catwalks of the western world. When she was presented with the prestigious Vienna Fashion Award in March 2012 at a gala in Vienna's MuseumsQuartier , she wore a robe by the Bulgarian designer Petar Petrov , who lives and works in Vienna.
