Ilya Iwaschka ( Belarusian Ілья Івашка ; born February 24, 1994 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian tennis player .

Career

Ilja Iwaschka mainly plays on the ITF Future Tour and ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has won three singles and two doubles on the third-rate Future Tour. He celebrated his first successes on the second-rate Challenger Tour together with his compatriot Sjarhej Betau in Portorož . He won the doubles competition there against the Croatian duo Tomislav Draganja and Nino Serdarušić in three sets. In 2017 he celebrated his first triumph in Fargʻona . Without losing a set in the entire tournament, he defeated Nikola Milojević 6: 4, 6: 3 in the final .

He made his Grand Slam debut at the US Open in 2016 . After successfully qualifying, he met Pablo Carreño Busta in the first round , against whom he lost in three straight sets.

In 2016 he made his debut for the Belarusian Davis Cup team .
