Immanuel von Frohnmeyer

Immanuel von Frohnmeyer (born February 5, 1848 in Ludwigsburg , † February 8, 1931 in Stuttgart ; ennobled 1905) was the prelate and general superintendent of Reutlingen .

Life

After studying theology at the Tübingen monastery , a vicariate followed at the Tempelhof in 1871 , before he was repetent at the Tübingen monastery and vicar in Blaufelden in 1873 . Stations in Maulbronn , Eschach and Knittlingen followed .

From 1881 he was a professor at the teachers' college in Nagold . In 1887 he became a member of the consistory as a consultant for school matters , with the rank and title of senior consistorial councilor . In 1896 he was also given a teaching position for pedagogy at the higher seminar for teachers of the Royal Katharinenstift in Stuttgart. From 1900 he was a member of the disciplinary court for evangelical clergy, in 1902 he was chairman of the examination commission for work teachers and a member of the commission for educational institutions. In 1903 he was appointed a regular senior councilor.

In 1905 he was appointed prelate and general superintendent of Reutlingen , which means that from 1906 he was also a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg estates . In 1913 he initially retired , but helped out in the pastoral service during the First World War and worked in Großdeinbach .
