Ingar Solty

Ingar Solty (born April 14, 1979 in Meinerzhagen ) is a German author and social scientist.

Solty received his PhD and has taught as a research fellow at York University in Toronto , Canada. His main research interests are in international political economy , political sociology , political theory and political aesthetics .

Solty is the review editor for Das Argument magazine . He is a fellow of the Institute for Critical Theory eV (InkriT).

Since June 2016, he has been working as the successor to Erhard Crome as a speaker for peace and security policy at the Institute for Social Analysis of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation .
