Ingrid Lauterbach (born June 6, 1960 ) is a German- English chess player . She has been the International Women's Champion (WIM) since 1987 .

National team

Ingrid Lauterbach took part in three women's chess Olympiads , in 1990 for the German selection and in 2008 and 2010 for the English selection . With England she also took part in the European Women's Team Championships in 1999, 2005, 2007 and 2009.

Lauterbach played in the German Bundesliga in the 1987/88 season for Munich SC 1836 and in the 1990/91 season for Grundig Nuremberg. In the women's Bundesliga she played from 1992 to 1995 and from 1997 to 1999 for Hamburger SK , in the 1995/96 season for the Krefeld chess club Turm 1851 , in the 1999/2000 season for SV Fortuna Regensburg , from 2000 to 2005 and from 2007 to 2013 for the Karlsruhe Chess Friends and since 2013 for the SF Deizisau . In the British Four Nations Chess League Lauterbach played in the 1993/94 season for Covent Garden and from 1994 to 1996 for the team of British Chess Magazine ; Since 1997 she has been active for the first and second team of the Barbican Chess Club, with which she also took part in the European Club Cup three times .
