Inicua is a town in the La Paz department in Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality is located in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Palos Blancos in the province of Sud Yungas . It is located at an altitude of 527 m on the right, northern bank of the Río Inicua , which flows downstream into the Río Alto Beni .

Inicua is located in the Bolivian Yungas east of the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Real between the mountain ranges of the Serranía Marimonos, which run from northwest to southeast .

From La Paz, the Ruta 3 road leads via Coroico and Caranavi in a north-easterly direction to the bridge over the Río Beni, from there another sixteen kilometers to Inicua . The Ruta 3 reaches the Río Mamoré after another 352 kilometers near Trinidad .
